About Us

On April 25th, 2015, Dennis Broadwell was directly involved in the Nepal Earthquake and Pumori Avalanche that killed 18 people at Everest Base Camp. His climbing team barely survived. Our goal is to help restore the mountain communities of Nepal and the people affected by this natural disaster.

Since 2015, our focus has shifted from earthquake relief to increasing educational opportunities and assistance for school children living in the foothills of Nepal.

Climb to Support The Himalayan Outreach Project

Climb for Nepal

Join our fifth annual Climb for Nepal fundraiser and summit Mount Rainier. Northwest Alpine Guides will be guiding the 3-day climb on Mount Rainier. The climb is led by Mountain Gurus founder Dennis Broadwell. Proceeds from the climb will support The Himalayan Outreach Project and benefits school children living in the foothills of Nepal.
